Job Description
Reporting to the HR Director this role manages divisional human resources activities, either directly or through subordinates, in all areas of employment / employment practices, compensation/benefit administration and fair and equitable treatment of employees in accordance with various policies and regulations; works to minimize organization's legal liabilities; and develops a business partnership with Operations to create long term strategies to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
BS / BA in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
7-10 years human resources generalist experience demonstrating strong knowledge of:
Human resources practices and principles
Manpower and succession planning
Employment laws
Workers compensation
Unemployment compensation, management training and development practices
Knowledge of restaurant / retail / multi-unit operations preferred
