Restaurant Servers (West Kitchen and Tavern)

West Kitchen and Tavern Restaurant at The Loews Annapolis Hotel features Chesapeake Bay Regional cuisine and encompasses not only the best seafood our area has to offer but the best meat, dairy and produce from our region. We provide flexible, intelligent service in a vibrant environment to a variety of guests ranging from local residents and businesses to tourists, yachtsmen and government officials.

The Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We are currently seeking full time Servers.

Restaurant servers for Loews Hotels are responsible for providing prompt, efficient, courteous, professional food and beverage service, as well as do the pre-meal set up and post meal breakdown, ensuring that all guest's needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. 

The individual hired for this position should expect to be scheduled as needed for either AM (Breakfast/lunch) shifts or PM (dinner) shifts. This candidate should also be prepared to work on the WKT Outdoor Patio during in season as a server if needed. This position is hourly and earns tips.

The Ideal candidate should have previous experience as a server in a similar upscale setting and enjoy working at an energetic pace. He or she should have knowledge of food terminology, food service techniques and sanitation standards, and have knowledge of the legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service. Additional skills and characteristics include a friendly, positive attitude, polished appearance, excellent written and oral communication skills, dependability, and a strong work history. 

The position does require the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift trays weighing up to 35 pounds repetitively during the entire shift. Candidates should also be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. 

Tips certified preferred. 

Candidates must also meet Uniform and Grooming requirements, which include, but is not limited to a clean and professional appearance, no visible tattoos or piercings.
