Job Description

Loews Annapolis Hotel is looking for a friendly, energetic individual with a polished and professional appearance for a part time position as a Restaurant Greeter for our West Kitchen and Tavern Restaurant.

West is a three meal, "off the boat upscale" restaurant located in the Loews Annapolis Hotel. Dedicated to featuring sustainable, regional and seasonal cuisine, West Kitchen and Tavern Restaurant is the place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The restaurant greeter is responsible for the greeting and seating of guests according to Loews Hotels standards. He or she will coordinate the seating for all restaurant guests to balance the load for the restaurant servers. Additionally, he or she monitors service in the restaurant and steps in and/or advises as needed, with the primary focus being the host area to ensure the timely acknowledgment of restaurant guest.

The position is part timetime and will be scheduled for about 8-24 hours per week according to the level of business and staffing levels. We prefer some flexibility with shifts.

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a polished and professional appearance and a energetic and upbeat attitude with a an eye for detail and reading the guest. Exceptional service skills are required, as well as excellent communication skills, proven ability to work autonomously, strong team player, friendly. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

The ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift is required. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stretch and walk through the day is also required.
