Our client is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, ambitious, and curious internet savvy Inside Sales Business Developmentprofessionals to develop new business and to provide excellent customer service and follow-up to inbound web leads/calls from prospective customers. This position will focus on generating new leads (new acquisition sales) as well as following up and developing inbound leads from clients interested in the company’s data integration and data analytics software that is used for data warehouses, e-commerce, and enterprise application integration to Channel partners/Small Enterprise clients in multiple verticals. Our client's software enables their customers and partners to quickly and easily move data into large data stores and run sophisticated analytics in record-breaking time.

If you have a Bachelor’s degree, and ideally offer at least 1-2 yrs. of inside sales experience selling a technical product or software we want to speak to you.  If you have been told that you should be in sales, are bold, and not afraid to pick up a phone and talk to people about a great solution, we still want to speak to you.  Our client is known for promoting within and will put you on a fast track to outside software sales.

Our client offers a track record of stability for over 15 yrs. in Austin, 4-6 weeks of training + full benefits, and no caps to your commission.

Data Integration Software:  $35k - 40k base + average of $5k in accelerators

Skills Qualifications:

  • Prefer 1-2 years’ experience selling complex technology to senior corporate executives with a proven track record at achieving/exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Self-motivated to expand professional knowledge of products and selling skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communications and problem solving skills.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment; including the ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Assist Account Executives/Corporate Account Managers in sales prospecting and managing sales pipeline
  • Search for new sales opportunities and passes them on to Sales for follow-through
  •  Make 40-50 outbound calls daily to increase qualified leads
  • Develop prospecting tactics, qualification skills, product knowledge, product demonstration techniques, pricing structure and competitive positioning knowledge, and time management skills
  • Perform administrative and cross-functional requirements relating to sales

Required Experience and Education:

  •  2 - 4 year college degree preferred
  •  Requires a basic knowledge of sales methods and techniques
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  •  Strong organization skills to produce quality work while meeting tight schedules and coordinate with other staff members
  • Basic skills in the use of various business applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Requires initiative and the ability to influence events in order to achieve results, rather than passively accepting them
  • Requires the ability to make cold sales calls without reluctance.
