Job Description

MARBLEX, Washington DC’s premiere natural stone fabricator & supplier, is seeking vibrant, talented, aggressive and outgoing Sales Consultants with a sharp sense of style, to help retail customers design and purchase our exquisite natural stone products. In addition, Sales Consultants will be expected to manage and further develop existing Interior Design, Remodeling, Architectural and Kitchen & Bath accounts. Proactive and aggressive Sales Consultants are encouraged to generate new business opportunities and are rewarded accordingly. Showroom hours are Monday– Saturday. (Regular Saturday rotation is required). Position includes full benefits + 401k + profit sharing. The ideal candidate should possess the following characteristics and skills: •Prior sales (commission-based) and/or account management experience – quota responsibility, understanding of pipeline/sale reporting, and customer service; •Ability and interest in all facets of the natural stone industry; •Ability to self-manage and self-direct personal activities; •Minimum 3-5 years experience selling home improvement or design related services. •Prior stone industry, design, kitchen & bath, and/or construction experience is required •Must be extremely well organized with great attention to detail and proven track record •Willingness to go above and beyond the usual call of duty and to outperform personal and professional goals; A college degree is preferred, but not necessary.
