Job Description

• Instructor of Psychology (545) Salary: Based on qualifications and experience. Description: Responsible for teaching General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Abnormal Psychology, and courses in Human Services program. Required: Master’s degree in Psychology; experience teaching psychology at the undergraduate level; experience teaching Human Growth and Development and Abnormal Psychology. Desired: The ability to teach courses in Human Services program, including instruction to human services, substance abuse, group dynamics, and interviewing; a willingness to teach at various campuses/times to include night classes and in electronic as well as face-to-face formats and actively support the department in the textbook selection, assessment of student learning outcomes, and program reviews are desired; ability to work cooperatively with other members of the college community; knowledge of and commitment to the community college mission.
